Projectomschrijving
General
In 1995 the Porsche 911 Turbo was released, featuring a new turbocharging engine displacing 3.6 liters that produces 408 hp. Many modified internals were used, like twin turbochargers and air-to-air intercoolers, electronic engine management, and new designed cylinder heads and more.
This 993 Turbo was the first with 4-wheel drive and the electronic motor management helped this Turbo to a far superior fuel efficiency compared to previous production Turbos.
The bodywork of the Turbo differs from the 'basic' models by 6 cm widened rear wheel arches, redesigned bumper moldings (frond and rear) and a fixed rear wing that is housing the intercooler. New light weight-reducing hollow spokes were standard on the Turbo.
For MY1997 the WLS2 powerkit was introduced for the 993 Turbo. WLS2 replaced the earlier WLS1. While the 316 kW WLS1 powerkit was just a chip-tuning and increase in boost pressure, with the 331 kW WLS2 came the K24 turbochargers (instead of K16) and twin ignition was added (standard on all normally aspirated 964 and 993 Carreras). To boost sales, highly equipped versions at better price were offered, called the 993 Turbo S. The European version came with the 331 kW WLS2 and the US-version with the 316 KW WLS1 (WLS1 was discontinued for European models).

Still presented in its original colour of Arctic Silver presents impeccably. Cherished and dry stored throughout its life the paintwork remains unmarked and stunningly bright, boasting a deep shine to every panel. The interior space is upholstered with soft black leather, extending to the dashboard and door panels. Both front seats are heated with 8-way electrical operation for maximum comfort control.
